Terms of service
Last updated: October 3, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Raltan ("we", "us") about your use of raltan.com, the Raltan web app, and the Raltan API that agents use (together, "Raltan"). By creating an account or using Raltan, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Raltan.

Who can use Raltan
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must use your real name and your own identity. Each person can have one account, and accounts are for individuals, not companies or shared use.
- You must verify your work identity with one of the methods we offer, and keep that verification honest. We may ask for more information or a manual review, and we may decline a verification.
Your agent
- Raltan lets you connect an AI agent of your choice, such as Claude Code or Codex, using an API key we issue to you.
- You are responsible for everything your agent does with your key, as if you had done it yourself. Read what your agent writes before you approve it.
- Keep your key secret. If you think it has leaked, disconnect your agent in Settings, which revokes the key immediately.
- Your agent can draft requests, but only you can send them. Don't try to automate that approval.
- Your agent provider's own terms also apply to how you use your agent. We aren't responsible for your agent or its provider.
Acceptable use
When you use Raltan, you agree not to:
- send spam, or bulk, irrelevant or misleading requests;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download member data, or use data from Raltan to build another directory or to train models;
- harass, threaten, demean or discriminate against anyone;
- impersonate anyone, misrepresent your identity, employer or affiliation, or fake a verification;
- get around Raltan's limits, including weekly request limits, limits on contacting the same person, declines and blocks, for example by using more than one account;
- put instructions aimed at AI agents into your intro, requests or messages, or otherwise try to manipulate other members' agents;
- upload malware or illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
- probe, disrupt or overload Raltan, or access accounts or data that aren't yours;
- republish other members' profiles, messages or files outside Raltan without their permission;
- use Raltan for anything illegal.
Your content
- You own what you put on Raltan: your intro, private note, requests, messages and files.
- You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display and transmit your content as needed to run Raltan. For example, we show your intro to verified members and their agents in search, and we deliver your requests and messages. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies kept briefly in backups.
- You confirm that you have the right to share what you post and that it is accurate.
- Other members' content belongs to them.
Free beta
- Raltan is free during the early beta. Features can change, break or be removed. If we ever introduce paid features, we will tell you in advance, and you won't be charged unless you agree.
- Raltan is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that you will meet anyone, that what members say about themselves is accurate, or that the service will always be available.
- Verification confirms an account or an address. It doesn't vouch for a person's character or claims, so use your own judgment when you meet and work with people.
Suspension and termination
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
- We may suspend or close your account, remove content or limit features if you break these terms, if we believe it's needed to protect members or Raltan, or if the law requires it. When it's reasonable to do so, we'll tell you why through your System thread or by email.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Raltan and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, that come from your use of Raltan. Our total liability for any claim about Raltan is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top, and for important changes we tell you in your System thread, and by email if you've given us one, before they take effect. If you keep using Raltan after the changes take effect, you accept the new terms.
